Inish Beg is on the Southwest coast of Ireland on the River Ilen estuary just a few miles from the thriving market town of Skibbereen, Carbery's 100 Isles, and the idyllic little port of Baltimore, with its sailing, fishing and diving centres.
Just 75 minutes from Cork City and Cork Airport/Ferryport, it is at the centre of the spectacular West Cork area and is a haven for walking, bird watching, fishing, boating or just relaxing and sampling the culinary delights, art and music of West Cork!
There is one three bedroom and four two bedroom cottages. Each of these stone built deluxe holiday cottages has its own private garden and combines the best of modern, comfortable accommodation with traditional country living; a well equiped kitchen complete with dishwasher; a cathedral vaulted living room with stereo, widescreen TV, video and dvd; hand built beds, ample wardrobes and luxury bathrooms. And for comfort on your holiday, our cottages feature underfloor heating throughout plus a woodburning stove. Adjacent to the cottages you will find a utility room with washing machines, dryer and ironing facilities. Broadband is also available on the estate.
The Courtyard Cottages are located next to the restored walled garden and the sports complex, consisting of an indoor swimming pool, steam and exercise rooms.
Guests can buy our organic honey, eggs, fruit and veg from the walled garden when available and they also have access to our large video library.
The rental cost is inclusive of all energy costs, use of the indoor swimming pool, steam and exercise rooms and access to the estate gardens, grounds and woodlands. The estate also has a working farm with lots of animals including horses and our guests can take a carriage drive along the many woodland paths and drives throughout the estate. Abundant wildlife including otters are in the immediate area.
